Location is accessible, staff are nice, it’s decent, food is delicious

The complementary airport pick up is poor, long wait time, air conditioning not working, i has to sit in the hot bus for 1:30hrs while we wait for other passengers to arrive. Eventually had to leave and take a taxi. It’s better to discontinue the service. Leaves a bad taste with the traveller.

Clean, adequate and good value diet money. Great location. Good food and pleasant staff

Sun beds by the pool not adjustable. AC unit in bedroom leaked occasionally. Shower leaked a bit as well

Wonderful

I loved the people and the place. Absolutely amazing pool and surroundings. There is a great restaurant called Jamrock with live music and next door to the hotel there is a big shopping centre. I will definitely stay there again next time I go to Ghana.

In general, I enjoyed my stay at Oak Plaza Hotel East Airport, Accra

Breakfast was good. The place is located a shopping mall and not too far from the airport

Bathroom was good but water was leaking from the side of the bath likely due to malalignment but was sorted with a towel by a staff. I visited the bar on Friday evening no one showed me where to sit, I had to ask if I could sit anywhere.No one came to ask if I needed help in ordering. No menu was offered so I had to leave after 15 minutes without ordering anything.

All the menu's were European menu, Can the menu's be a bit mixed like Ghanaian dishes cum European,after all how many Europeans were there at the time of my visit.

My stay was good apart that the lamp and the katle in my room wasn't work. I asked to someone to check it but didn't happen. I was only for two days it was ok. I think should have mango in your breakfast once they are very good in Ghana and it is a season.

I didn't like the fruits in the break fast, looks old and not fresh.

The staff is nice, helpful and efficient. The breakfast is fantastic, there is a lot of choice, decent coffee and omelettes made on request. It is located within a 10 minutes drive from the airport (when there is no traffic).

The rooms on the street side are noisy, at 6am it is already too noisy to sleep. The pillows are too big and hard.

Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful led by a great manager John, who goes out of his way to accommodate his guests. He arranged a cooler box of cold beers daily in the shuttle when we were collected after the trade show. They also arrange many get togethers for the guests at the hotel.

ALL the staff were very polite, courteous and very helpful. The Friday evening live band and barbecue buffet. My husband and I were pleased that we were able to have breakfast before leaving, in spite of having to catch a very early flight out that morning.

Surprisingly the room was particularly small and that was quite a disappointment.

The internet was great. The staff were very friendly and engaging.

The shower was a disaster. Very small and leaks water all over the bathroom floor. I left feeling that the facilities are closer to a 3-star than a 4-star, but overall good value for money.

Hard to find a good place to stay around Kotoka airport in Accra, but this one works very well. It's clean and well-kept up, the staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the Wi-Fi actually works.

Internet connection was easy and fast

The room has a rather dated look, and overall would benefit from being rehabilitated. Lots of efforts remain to be made to satisfy the customer. For instance, although while booking, I requested transfer from airport on arrival, there was no one. I had to call and still wait about 45 min (instead of 7 min as promised on the phone). At breakfast with an empty room, staff present and obviously not busy, I still waited about twenty minutes before someone came to inquire about the drink I wanted to take.
